If I’m louder
Will you hear me
Hear my words
Listen
To my story

If I’m darker
Will you see me
See my scars
Look
At my wounds

If I’m rougher
Will you feel me
Feel my pain
Touch
My soul

This poem was inspired by a Dutch Center for Consultation and Expertise case video called “If I’m louder, would you see me?”
